International Seminar on Improvement: the Key to Quality
The organizations attending the International Star for Quality Award convention in Geneva will take part in the Seminar on Improvement: the Key to Quality. There, participants can freely exchange ideas concerning Quality Culture and Total Quality Management, as well as managerial practices to increase productivity, reduce waste and pursue excellence. This seminar is carried out in collaboration with the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) under the program of cooperation with universities created by BID Group One.
This initiative started on April 16th, 2015 when the President of BID, José E. Prieto signed an agreement of cooperation between BID and the UPM. This alliance is based on the model “Aula Universidad Empresa” which enriches the academic and business world and was conceived to help universities and institutions of higher education, such as UPM, to develop all their potential as communicators and supporters of knowledge, with the help of organizations such as BID Group One as a partner and an ally, through Business Initiative Directions and ImarPress World.
Using this model, BID develops training and educational activities in association with UPM and with other prestigious international educational institutions in order to boost the research, creative and informative capability of universities for the benefit of society, and especially for the development of academic knowledge about Quality Culture.
Our objective is to create an alliance formed by educational institutions with the participation of academic professionals, under the same commitment to innovation, excellence and productivity together with the dissemination of knowledge. This is a project which pursues the creation of a group of leaders, entrepreneurs, thinkers, intellectuals and creative people who, acting as a think-tank, plant the seeds of the future by laying the basis to achieve excellence, develop quality technology in organizations and promoting continuous improvement within the realm of Quality Culture.
The International Star for Quality Award Convention, Geneva 2018 is organized by BID Group One and Business Initiative Directions (BID) with Imarpress World as its media sponsor. The award has appeared in previous years on television and in various media facets on all continents.
